It is estimated that 34.5 Million Sockeye entered the Fraser River system of Canada in 2010, the largest return of Sockeye Salmon in nearly 100 years. About 7 million of these fish entered the Adams River / Shuswap Lake complex, a tributary of the Fraser, where I slipped in to document a river literally running red. It was an incredible honor and a privilege to witness this epoch event.
