Fall comes early in the Wallowa Mountains of Eastern Oregon.  We are often “kissed” by the first snow of the season in late September or October.  It is as if winter is sending us an early reminder of what is to come. Warm days however generally prevail well into October accompanied by a symphony of fall color.
