There is nothing that rocks my world more than being underwater in the presence of fish, particularly those creatures of liquid light, salmon. As a fisheries biologist I understand the biology of their life cycle, but it is their strength and determination that touches my soul. I have often thought if I could harness one tenth of their passion and determination, what more might I accomplish in this life.

The presence of water is what sets our planet apart. The health and diversity of all species speaks directly to the over all health of our planet. It is an honor to share these brief "glimpses" into their world with you.

The Fish Galleries are set up so you can easily search for images relative to species, origin or life stage.  Fine Art Prints are located in a gallery of their own and are not divided into discreet categories.  After many years of photographing fish it became apparent that not all images were destined to become fine art prints, however there remained significant utility for use of these images in other applications such as documentation, research, education, web and print publications and design work.  These images all come under the heading of Stock Photography and can be searched using specific criteria or  viewed without reference to category.    That being said... any image in the stock photography galleries can be produced as a fine art print upon request.
